CCO at TracyLocke Brasil, part of DDB / Omnicom Group. Member of DDB Latina's creative board. Before that, was the Head of Creative at BFerraz agency, based in Sao Paulo, leading all the creative work in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, Creative Director at Africa DDB and Associate Creative Director at R/GA. Was Senior Art Director of DM9 DDB, Neogama BBH, AgênciaClick Isobar and Associate Creative Director at Garage Interactive and Sinc Digital.
At the end of 2017, was invited by Bazinho Ferraz to lead BFerraz agency creatively and to build a strong and contemporary creative culture. The team recreated the agency's branding, reformulated processes using agile methodology, modified the products and the experience agency started to deliver interactive and retail verticals, becoming full-service.
Agency won new accounts and the creative team, which was 18 people, became more diverse, with 14 more women, now totalling 38 people.
For the past 22 years has worked for brands such as YouTube, Google, Waze, Next Bank, Bradesco Bank, Itaú Bank, AbInbev, Coca-Cola, Diageo, TIM Telecom, Vivo Telecom, Samsung, FIAT, Renault, LG, Colgate, ESPN and Mentos. Has collected more than 100 awards, including Cannes, New Blood D&AD, El Ojo, Effie, Fiap, Wave, Sinos, Cristal, Mobile Marketing Association, Creative Club of Brazil and publications at Lürzer's Archive and Shots Magazine.
Was a jury member of Effie Awards Brazil and Latam,Clio Health, NY Festivals, Ampro Globes Awards, Prêmio Abradi (Brazilian Digital Awards) and Colunistas Sao Paulo. Represented Brazil as the final jury at Ad Stars in South Korea. Also, in 2020 judged D&AD in the New Blood category.
As an entrepreneur Daniel was one of the founders of 3D Cine, the first 3D cinema with stereoscopic technology in Brazil. In 2008 was invited by Microsoft to be part of the Artists in Residence Program to create projects using technology at its headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
Has a degree in Advertising at PUC Minas and a post grad in Business Management at ESPM. Teaches art direction at Escola Cuca and he is a post grad professor of creative processes at FAG. He believes this is the way to give back to future generations in advertising what I've learned so far in the business.
